Descriptive Writing Activity

Create a new Google Doc called "Your Name - Descriptive Writing Activity" and share it with juruble@gmail.com. Using as many CONCRETE NOUNS and ADJECTIVES as you can, describe the following foods on your Google Doc. Try to stretch yourself -- use the thesaurus, the dictionary. Find the most perfect way to write what you mean and SHOW instead of TELL your reader.

-Airhead: Describe a memory that the bite reminds you of. It may have to do with Airheads, but it may not!

-Strawberry: As clearly and vividly as you can, describe the taste of the strawberry. Don’t say it’s “good” or “tasty” but describe the actual flavor. Pretend someone has lost their taste and you’re trying to explain it to them.

-TortillaChip: Imagine someone had lost their hearing. Describe as accurately as you can the sound and feel of eating a tortilla chip.

-Gummies: As clearly and vividly as you can, describe the texture of the gummy.
